Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern any project, quote, or engagement between you ("the Client") and Hannan Moorad, operating as HM/DEV ("I," "me," or "my"). By requesting a quote or starting a project, you agree to these terms.
Project Scope & Quotes
Every quote is based on the scope discussed during the discovery call or initial conversation. Any request that falls outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Payment
- Projects typically require an upfront deposit before work begins
- The remaining balance is due upon completion, before final files or site access are handed over
- Prices are agreed upon before work starts and will not change once confirmed, barring scope changes
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, as agreed at the start of the project. Additional revisions beyond what's included may incur extra charges.
Timelines
Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith based on project scope. Delays caused by late feedback, missing content, or scope changes from the Client's side may extend the timeline accordingly.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, the Client owns the final website files and content created specifically for them. Reusable code snippets, frameworks, or tools developed independently remain the property of HM/DEV.
Hosting & Third-Party Costs
Domain registration, hosting, and any third-party services or subscriptions (such as booking systems or payment gateways) are the Client's responsibility unless explicitly included in the agreed quote.
Support
Post-launch support terms (bug fixes, minor tweaks) are discussed on a per-project basis. Ongoing maintenance beyond the agreed support window may require a separate arrangement.
Limitation of Liability
While every effort is made to deliver a working, reliable website, HM/DEV is not liable for losses arising from third-party service outages, hosting issues, or factors outside direct control.
